Description
200mm tray sealing film is rollstock lidding film slit to a nominal width of 200mm for compatible tray-sealing machines and mold layouts. It is commonly used with CPET ready-meal trays, bakery trays, airline-meal trays, institutional catering packs, and other prepared-food containers.
The current product is described as a PET/PE laminate in a standard 200mm × 500m roll. The PET or BOPET outer layer provides strength, clarity, dimensional stability, puncture resistance, and printability. The inner sealing layer must be selected to match the actual tray flange.
A 200mm roll width does not mean the film fits every tray with a dimension below 200mm. The required width depends on tray orientation, flange dimensions, mold cavities, film tracking, cutting clearance, registration marks, and the tray-sealer unwind system.

A generic BOPET/PE or PET/PE laminate should not automatically be described as ovenable to 200°C. The PET outer layer may tolerate elevated temperature, while the PE sealant, adhesive, inks, coatings, tray flange, and complete package may have different limitations.
For conventional-oven applications, use only the exact structure that has been validated for the specified CPET tray, food product, maximum temperature, cooking time, sealing parameters, and whether the film remains attached during heating.
