Description
Custom thickness food tray sealing film is flexible lidding rollstock manufactured or converted to a selected gauge, width, roll length, core, and functional structure for sealing compatible food trays and boxes. This page covers nominal thicknesses from 0.05mm to 0.10mm, equal to 50–100 microns.

Seal and peel performance may change when film gauge changes. Each proposed thickness should be tested for seal initiation, operating window, peak peel force, clean-peel behavior, leakage, and tray-rim damage.
Anti-fog treatment helps reduce condensation and improve visibility in refrigerated display. High-barrier grades can incorporate EVOH or another functional layer to control oxygen and maintain a modified atmosphere.
For barrier projects, provide the required OTR, WVTR, gas mixture, food type, filling temperature, storage temperature, and target shelf life. The barrier performance should be measured on the approved complete laminate, not inferred from thickness alone.
