Where Clear GPPS Should Be Evaluated Carefully
GPPS is rigid and transparent but comparatively brittle. Projects requiring high impact resistance should evaluate HIPS, PETG, acrylic, polycarbonate or another material according to the finished-product requirements.
Standard clear GPPS should not automatically be assumed suitable for long-term outdoor exposure. If outdoor installation is required, provide the expected UV exposure, temperature, moisture and service-life requirements before material selection.
