Product Description
HSQY clear rigid PVC sheet rolls are transparent PVC materials designed for thermoforming, vacuum forming, blister packaging, folding boxes, printing, display packaging and industrial conversion. The material combines good clarity, dimensional stability, rigidity and processability for B2B packaging manufacturers, thermoformers, printers and plastic converters.
HSQY supplies rigid PVC in rolls, flat sheets and customized cut sizes. Current specifications include thicknesses from 0.21mm to 6.5mm, roll widths up to 1280mm and standard sheet sizes such as 915 × 1830mm and 1220 × 2440mm. Clear, blue-tinted transparent and customized colors are available according to application requirements.
Clear rigid PVC sheet roll is a non-flexible or semi-rigid polyvinyl chloride material supplied as continuous roll stock or converted into flat sheets. It is also commonly described as transparent PVC sheet, rigid vinyl film, PVC roll stock, PVC thermoforming sheet or clear PVC film depending on thickness and end use.
When heated under controlled conditions, an appropriate rigid PVC grade can be vacuum formed or thermoformed into blisters, trays, clamshells and shaped packaging. Flat material can also be cut, printed, scored, folded or converted into transparent boxes, windows and display components.
The correct formulation should be selected according to the final application. General packaging, printing, food-contact, pharmaceutical, medical-device, antistatic, UV-stabilized and flame-retardant applications may require different material formulations and supporting documentation.

Clear PVC provides transparent product presentation for blister packs, folding boxes, packaging windows and retail displays. Where optical performance is critical, buyers should specify acceptable clarity, haze, tint, surface defects and gloss requirements.
Appropriate rigid PVC grades soften under controlled heating and can be formed over molds using vacuum or thermoforming equipment. This makes the material suitable for blister packs, trays, clamshells and shaped plastic components.
Selected PVC grades provide smooth surfaces suitable for printing, scoring, creasing and folding. Printing compatibility should be tested with the intended ink, curing process and surface treatment before mass production.
Rigid PVC provides useful resistance to moisture and many chemicals, supporting packaging and selected industrial applications. Chemical compatibility should be confirmed for the exact substance, concentration, temperature and exposure period.
HSQY can discuss customized thicknesses, roll widths, sheet dimensions, roll weight, color and surface requirements according to the customer's thermoforming machine, printing equipment and finished product.
UV-stabilized, antistatic, anti-block and flame-performance formulations may be available for specific requirements. These properties should not be assumed for standard clear PVC and should be confirmed in the written product specification.
Thermoforming is one of the main applications for clear rigid PVC roll stock. During the process, the PVC sheet is heated until it reaches a formable condition, shaped against a mold and then cooled so that it retains the finished geometry.
Consistent thickness is important because uneven gauge can influence heating, material distribution, wall thickness and forming accuracy. Buyers should evaluate the material on their actual thermoforming machine and production mold before approving mass production.
Forming temperature, heating time and cycle settings vary according to PVC formulation, sheet thickness, heater configuration, mold depth and machine speed. A universal forming temperature should therefore not be applied to every PVC grade.
Clear rigid PVC sheet rolls can be used across packaging, printing, retail and selected industrial applications. The correct grade should be selected according to processing method and regulatory requirements.
Transparent PVC can be thermoformed into blisters, clamshells, trays and product-retention inserts for tools, electronics, stationery, cosmetics, hardware and other retail goods.
Clear PVC sheets can be scored, folded and fabricated into transparent boxes or used as clear windows in paperboard packaging, allowing the customer to see the packaged product.
Suitable printing-grade PVC can be used for offset printing, screen printing and other compatible printing methods for signs, covers, promotional materials and display components.
PVC is also used in pharmaceutical blister and medical-device packaging, but these applications require dedicated material grades, applicable testing and packaging-system validation. Standard general-purpose clear PVC should not automatically be used for regulated medical or pharmaceutical applications.

Yes. Suitable rigid PVC grades are commonly used for vacuum forming and thermoforming. Customers should test the selected sheet on their actual machine and mold before full production.
Yes. Clear rigid PVC is widely used for general retail blister packaging, clamshells and thermoformed trays. Pharmaceutical blister packaging requires a dedicated pharmaceutical-grade specification.
Yes. Suitable printing grades can be printed, scored and folded into transparent boxes, covers and packaging windows. Ink adhesion and folding performance should be tested before mass production.
No. Standard clear PVC should not automatically be considered UV stabilized. If the finished application requires outdoor exposure, request a UV-stabilized grade and specify the expected exposure conditions.
No. Antistatic performance requires a specific formulation or treatment. Buyers requiring antistatic PVC should specify the target surface-resistance range, application and expected duration of the antistatic effect.
A dedicated food-contact PVC formulation may be suitable for selected food-packaging applications. Suitability depends on the destination market, food type, temperature, contact duration and applicable migration requirements. SGS or RoHS documentation alone does not establish universal food-contact compliance.
Reference sheet sizes include 915 × 1830mm and 1220 × 2440mm. Customized dimensions can also be discussed according to order requirements.
Yes. Customized roll width, roll weight, sheet dimensions and packaging can be discussed according to production feasibility and the customer's converting equipment.
