Product Description
HSQY manufactures flexible and semi-rigid PVC film for stationery covers, ring binders, document folders, page protectors, book covers, menu covers, ID-card sleeves, badge holders, pencil cases and other converted stationery products.
The featured PVC film is available in thicknesses from approximately 0.05mm to 0.30mm. Common stationery specifications include 0.10mm, 0.12mm, 0.15mm, 0.18mm, 0.20mm, 0.25mm and 0.30mm.
Clear, blue-tinted, transparent colored, translucent and opaque colored films are available. Surface options include glossy, matte, frosted, orange peel, leather grain, suede and customized embossing.
Flexible grades are normally supplied in master rolls or slit rolls for welding, sewing, printing and converting. Semi-rigid grades can also be supplied as A4, A3, A5, Letter, Legal and customized cut sheets.
The softness and handling performance can be adjusted through the PVC formulation, plasticizer system, thickness and embossing pattern. Customers should specify the required Shore hardness, flexibility, surface, joining process and finished application.
Optional formulations include copy-safe, non-phthalate, anti-static, anti-blocking, low-temperature, RF-weldable, printable, antimicrobial, flame-retardant and UV-stabilized PVC film.
These optional properties are not included in every standard film. The exact formulation, test method and supporting documents must be confirmed before bulk production.

Flexible PVC stationery film is a plasticized polyvinyl chloride material designed to remain bendable and suitable for cutting, printing, embossing, folding, welding, heat sealing, sewing and adhesive bonding.
Unlike rigid PVC binding sheets, flexible PVC contains a plasticizer system that affects softness, drape, low-temperature flexibility, migration, sealing performance and long-term aging.
Clear film is selected when documents, printed graphics or identification cards must remain visible. Colored and embossed films are used for decorative binder exteriors, folders, notebook covers, pouches and branded stationery.
The material may also be described as soft PVC film, flexible vinyl film, stationery PVC film, binder-cover vinyl, transparent PVC roll film or plasticized PVC sheet.

One micron equals 0.001mm. A 200-micron PVC film is therefore 0.20mm thick.
Two films with the same thickness can have different flexibility because softness also depends on the PVC resin, plasticizer type, plasticizer level, fillers, pigments, temperature and embossing.
Customers should provide a Shore hardness target, an approved physical sample or a clearly defined finished-product requirement.

Standard plasticized PVC can interact with toner, ink, coatings and pressure-sensitive materials during prolonged contact.
Copy-safe PVC film is formulated to reduce the risk of printed text or graphics transferring from a document onto the PVC surface.
