Product Description
HSQY supplies rigid PVC film and PVC-based laminated thermoforming films for food, pharmaceutical, medical and specialty packaging conversion. Available structures include mono PVC, PVC/PE, PVC/EVOH/PE and PVC/PVDC/PE according to the required forming, sealing and barrier performance.
The PVC layer provides rigidity, dimensional stability and thermoforming performance. In PVC/PE laminates, the PE layer provides a heat-sealable surface and additional flexibility. For oxygen-sensitive products, PVC/EVOH/PE structures can be evaluated where a higher oxygen barrier is required.
The current product family covers approximately 0.1mm to 1.5mm total thickness, with transparent and colored options, customized roll dimensions and a 76mm reference inner core. Final film structure, layer thicknesses, roll configuration and regulatory requirements should be confirmed for each application.

Mono rigid PVC provides the structural forming layer for thermoformed packaging. It offers rigidity, dimensional stability and forming capability and can be supplied in transparent or colored grades according to application requirements.
PVC/PE film combines a rigid PVC forming layer with a polyethylene layer. The PVC provides mechanical support and thermoforming performance, while the PE layer can provide heat-sealing functionality, additional flexibility and a suitable contact surface for qualified packaging applications.
PVC/EVOH/PE incorporates an EVOH barrier layer for applications requiring lower oxygen transmission than a standard PVC/PE structure. This construction can be evaluated for oxygen-sensitive foods and modified-atmosphere packaging where shelf-life requirements justify a higher-barrier structure.
PVC/PVDC/PE structures can be discussed for applications requiring a different combination of moisture and gas barrier performance. The complete layer construction, forming conditions, sealing system and measured barrier properties should be confirmed for the selected grade.
Thermoforming: Rigid PVC provides the structural layer required to form defined trays, cavities and packaging components.
Heat Sealing: PE laminated structures can provide a heat-sealable surface when matched with the appropriate packaging and sealing system.
Oxygen Barrier: EVOH-containing structures can provide increased oxygen barrier performance for oxygen-sensitive packaged products.
Customized Structures: Total thickness, individual layer construction, color, width and roll configuration can be discussed according to the project.
Continuous Roll Processing: Film can be configured for compatible thermoforming and form-fill-seal equipment.
Clear Product Presentation: Transparent grades allow visibility of packaged food, pharmaceutical or specialty products.
Barrier performance varies significantly by material structure, individual layer thickness and test conditions. When oxygen or water-vapor performance is critical, buyers should specify the required OTR and WVTR targets and request measured data for the proposed film construction.
PVC/PE and higher-barrier laminated structures can be evaluated for thermoformed fresh-meat and poultry packaging. The required material should be selected according to product type, shelf-life target, atmosphere, sealing system and storage conditions.
Multilayer thermoforming films can be used for suitable fish, cheese, processed meat, pasta and other packaged-food applications when the selected film structure and food-contact documentation are appropriate for the product and market.
For MAP applications, PVC/EVOH/PE or another qualified barrier structure can be evaluated where controlled oxygen transmission and package integrity are required. The laminate should be matched with the lidding film, gas mixture and intended shelf life.
PVC/PE and other PVC-based laminates can be evaluated for pharmaceutical unit-dose, suppository, medical and specialty thermoformed packaging. The exact structure must be selected according to the packaged product, sealing requirements, barrier target, sterilization conditions if applicable and required regulatory documentation.

Selecting a laminate only by total thickness is not sufficient. The required structure should be determined by the packaged product, forming process, sealing system, shelf-life target and regulatory requirements.
Required film structure: PVC, PVC/PE, PVC/EVOH/PE or other structure
Total thickness and individual layer requirements
Required film width
76mm core or other required core specification

For new structures, trial material should be evaluated on the intended packaging line before large-volume production. Important checks include forming quality, cavity definition, seal window, seal strength, peel characteristics where applicable, dimensional stability and package integrity.
Food-contact and pharmaceutical suitability must be confirmed for the exact film formulation and laminate structure. General quality-management certificates should not be treated as proof that every film structure is approved for every food, drug or medical application.
For food packaging, provide the food type, contact conditions, storage temperature and destination market. For pharmaceutical or medical packaging, provide the packaged product, forming and sealing process, required barrier performance and applicable qualification or documentation requirements.
Sample Packaging: Sample sheets or trial roll material can be packed in protective bags and cartons according to availability.
Roll Packaging: Rollstock can be protected and palletized according to width, roll diameter, core and shipment requirements.
Sheet Packaging: Sample or cut sheets can be packed with PE film or other protective packaging.
Pallet Packaging: Approximately 500–2000kg per plywood pallet depending on product configuration.
Container Loading: Loading quantity depends on roll dimensions, pallet configuration and container type.
Delivery Terms: FOB, CIF, EXW and DDU.
Typical Lead Time: Approximately 10–14 days after deposit, subject to laminate construction, quantity and confirmed production schedule.
Available quality and product documentation should be matched to the exact PVC or laminate grade being purchased. Buyers requiring specific migration, barrier, pharmaceutical, medical or food-contact documentation should state these requirements during technical evaluation.

Mono PVC consists primarily of the rigid PVC forming layer. PVC/PE combines PVC with a polyethylene layer that can provide heat-sealing functionality, flexibility and additional surface characteristics for suitable packaging systems.
PVC/EVOH/PE is a multilayer thermoforming structure containing an EVOH oxygen-barrier layer. It can be evaluated for oxygen-sensitive foods and MAP applications requiring lower oxygen transmission than standard PVC/PE.
Not necessarily. PVC/PE and PVC/EVOH/PE perform differently. If high oxygen barrier is required, specify the required OTR target and request measured barrier data for the proposed multilayer structure.
Yes, a suitable barrier structure can be evaluated for MAP applications. Film structure, barrier performance, lidding film, seal integrity, packaged food and gas mixture should be considered together when designing the package.
PVC/PE laminated film can be evaluated for suitable pharmaceutical, suppository, unit-dose and specialty packaging applications. The exact material must be qualified against the packaged product, forming process, sealing requirements and applicable regulatory requirements.
The current product family covers approximately 0.1mm to 1.5mm. Individual PVC, PE, EVOH or other layer thicknesses should be confirmed according to the selected laminate construction.
Roll dimensions can be discussed according to production capability and customer equipment. The existing specification references a 76mm inner core. Please provide required width, core size, maximum roll diameter and roll weight when requesting a quotation.
No single general statement applies to every structure. Food, pharmaceutical and medical suitability depends on the exact formulation, contact conditions, packaged product and applicable destination-market requirements. Relevant documents should be confirmed for the material being purchased.
The current listed MOQ is approximately 1000kg. Customized multilayer structures, colors, special widths or other non-standard specifications may require different minimum production quantities.
Sample sheets or trial roll material can be discussed according to the required structure and available stock. Testing the film on the intended forming and sealing equipment is recommended before approving a new material for volume production.
Please provide material structure, total thickness, width, core size, roll dimensions, color, forming depth, sealing requirements, packaged product, barrier targets, required documentation, order quantity and destination market.
