Product Description
HSQY manufactures 0.3mm white polypropylene sheets and 500mm-wide PP roll stock for printing, folding boxes, stationery, clothing templates, packaging inserts, advertising displays and industrial die-cut components.
The featured specification is 0.3mm thickness with a 500mm width. Customized thicknesses from approximately 0.25mm to 5mm and widths from approximately 300mm to 1700mm are available according to the required production format and application.
At 0.3mm thickness, the material is a flexible or semi-rigid polypropylene sheet rather than a structural board. It is particularly suitable for products requiring lightweight construction, repeated handling, die cutting, scoring, folding and moisture resistance.
White PP can be produced in opaque white, translucent white, bright white, warm white, cool white and customized shades. Surface options include smooth, matte, glossy, frosted, twill and other embossed textures.
One-side or two-side corona treatment can be supplied for printing, coating and adhesive applications. The required treatment level, printing process, ink system and storage period should be confirmed before production.
Standard polypropylene is electrically insulating. Antistatic, conductive, flame-retardant, food-contact and medical-use products require separate formulations, specifications and applicable documentation.

A 0.3mm white PP sheet is a thin polypropylene material produced with white pigments and application-specific additives.
Polypropylene has a relatively low density, so a PP sheet is generally lighter than an equivalent PVC or PET sheet of the same dimensions and thickness.
The material provides useful resistance to moisture and many common chemicals while retaining sufficient flexibility for folding, bending and repeated handling.
At 0.3mm thickness, PP is commonly supplied as a roll or thin sheet for printing, stationery, packaging, templates, tags and converted plastic products.
The material may also be described as white polypropylene film, rigid PP film, white PP roll stock, printable PP sheet or translucent white polypropylene sheet.

|---|---|---|
| Translucent White | Allows some light transmission and may show shadows behind the sheet | Folders, notebook covers, lamp inserts, templates and decorative packaging |
| Standard Opaque White | Balanced whiteness and hiding performance | Printing, tags, boxes, signs and stationery |
| High-Opacity White | Higher pigment loading for improved blockout and two-sided printing | Double-sided graphics, labels, displays and advertising panels |
| Bright White | Clean, vivid white appearance designed to improve printed color contrast | Premium printing, brand packaging and retail displays |
| Cool or Blue White | Slight cool optical tone | Modern packaging, electronics and technical products |
| Warm White | Softer white appearance with a warm visual tone | Cosmetics, gifts, lifestyle products and decorative packaging |
Buyers requiring consistent white appearance should provide a physical master sample or specify an accepted color standard and allowable color difference.
Smooth PP provides a clean surface for printing, labels, packaging and general conversion.
A matte surface reduces reflection and fingerprints and is commonly used for folders, notebook covers, menus and premium packaging.
Glossy PP creates a brighter appearance and can improve the visual impact of printed graphics after suitable surface treatment.
Twill, frosted and other embossed textures improve handling, reduce visible scratches and create decorative surface effects.
Polypropylene has a relatively low-energy surface, so untreated PP may provide poor ink, coating and adhesive adhesion.
Corona or flame treatment can increase surface energy and improve the wettability of printing inks, coatings and adhesives.
Corona treatment can be applied to one side or both sides. The treated side should be marked on the roll, sheet label or protective packaging.
Because treatment level can decline during storage, customers should confirm the required dyne level and test surface energy immediately before printing.
| Printing Method | Typical Application | Required Checks |
|---|---|---|
| Screen Printing | Signs, folders, labels, templates and displays | Ink system, dyne level, drying and abrasion resistance |
| UV Offset Printing | Folding boxes, cards, packaging and promotional sheets | UV energy, static, ink adhesion, sheet feeding and fold cracking |
| UV Inkjet Printing | Short-run signs, POP displays and customized graphics | Ink adhesion, curing temperature, flatness and brittleness |
| Flexographic or Gravure Printing | Roll-to-roll packaging, labels and decorative film | Treatment uniformity, ink viscosity, winding and registration |
| Digital Printing | Personalized stationery, tags and short-run packaging | Printer qualification, primer, static and heat exposure |
A production sample should be tested with the actual printer, ink, curing process and post-print converting operation.
White Polypropylene Sheet for Printing
A 0.3mm PP sheet can be cut with suitable slitters, guillotines, steel-rule dies and automated die-cutting equipment.
The sheet can be scored and folded for folders, document wallets, packaging boxes and stationery products.
Fold performance depends on PP grade, thickness, sheet orientation, crease depth, rule dimensions and folding speed.
Repeated-fold products may require a copolymer PP formulation or a specifically designed living-hinge structure.
Buyers should test fold whitening, hinge life, spring-back, dimensional stability and print cracking before bulk production.
Thermoforming-grade white PP can be vacuum formed or pressure formed into trays, packaging inserts, containers and industrial components.
The sheet formulation should be selected according to the forming depth, mold geometry, heating method, cycle time and required impact resistance.
At 0.3mm thickness, deep forming can produce significant thinning in corners and vertical walls.
Pre-production trials should evaluate sheet sag, heating uniformity, mold release, wall-thickness distribution and trimming performance.
| PP Type | General Characteristics | Typical Selection |
|---|---|---|
| PP Homopolymer | Generally provides higher stiffness and useful heat resistance | Rigid packaging, printing sheets, inserts and industrial components |
| PP Block Copolymer | Generally provides improved impact performance, especially at lower temperatures | Reusable folders, boxes, impact-sensitive parts and cold-chain applications |
| PP Random Copolymer | Can provide improved clarity and flexibility for selected products | Translucent packaging, decorative products and specialized forming applications |
The final PP resin type should be selected using the required stiffness, folding life, impact strength, temperature and production process.
| PP Grade | Main Function | Required Confirmation |
|---|---|---|
| Standard PP | General-purpose electrically insulating sheet | Thickness, stiffness, color, surface and application |
| Antistatic PP | Helps reduce static-charge accumulation | Required surface-resistance range, humidity and duration |
| Conductive PP | Provides controlled electrical conductivity through a modified compound | Volume or surface resistance, color and grounding design |
| Flame-Retardant PP | Modified burning behavior under a defined test | Test standard, rating, thickness, color and specimen direction |
| UV-Stabilized PP | Improved resistance to sunlight-related degradation | Climate, exposure period and weathering-test requirements |
Standard white polypropylene should not automatically be described as antistatic, conductive, fireproof or permanently suitable for outdoor use.
A standard industrial PP sheet should not automatically be described as approved for direct food contact or medical use.
Food-contact suitability depends on the PP resin, white pigment, additives, recycled content, printing ink, food type, contact temperature, contact time and destination market.
Medical applications may require controlled raw materials, biocompatibility information, traceability, clean manufacturing and application-specific testing.
Buyers should provide the exact regulatory, testing and documentation requirements before selecting a food-contact or medical-use grade.
