Product Description
HSQY printable solid polycarbonate sheet is an impact-resistant PC sheet designed for custom fabrication, signage, printed panels, machine guards, protective covers, equipment panels and other industrial applications. It can be supplied in clear, tinted, opaque and customized colors with cut-to-size and secondary processing services.
Available in thicknesses from 0.8mm to 15mm, HSQY solid PC sheet supports cutting, drilling, engraving, bending, punching, polishing, bonding, thermoforming, UV flatbed printing and screen printing. Standard sheet sizes include 1220 × 2400mm and 1200 × 2150mm, while customized dimensions can be produced according to drawings or samples.
Printing performance depends on the polycarbonate grade, surface finish, protective film, ink system and pretreatment. HSQY recommends compatibility testing before commercial printing to confirm ink adhesion, appearance and abrasion performance.
A printable polycarbonate sheet is a solid PC sheet selected and processed for applications where graphics, text, branding or functional markings need to be printed onto the surface. Polycarbonate combines high impact resistance with dimensional stability and fabrication flexibility, making it useful for durable printed components.
Depending on surface condition and ink compatibility, polycarbonate can be used with screen printing, selected UV digital printing and other printing processes. Transparent sheets can also be considered for reverse-printing designs where the printed graphics are viewed through the polycarbonate surface.
Unlike thin polycarbonate film used mainly for membrane switches, overlays and card materials, this HSQY product focuses on thicker solid sheets from 0.8mm to 15mm for printed panels, signage, equipment covers and fabricated industrial components.

Screen printing is widely used for durable graphics, logos, warning labels, control-panel markings and signage. The selected ink system should be specifically compatible with polycarbonate to reduce risks such as poor adhesion, cracking or chemical stress.
Selected polycarbonate sheets can be evaluated for UV flatbed digital printing. Ink adhesion depends on surface finish, ink formulation, printer settings and surface cleanliness, so production samples should be tested before a large printing run.
Clear polycarbonate panels can be reverse printed so the graphic is viewed through the transparent sheet. This configuration can help protect printed graphics from direct abrasion when the design and application permit printing on the rear surface.
Remove the protective masking from the printing side only when required and keep the surface clean and free from dust, oil and processing residue. Surface treatment or primer requirements should be determined by the ink supplier and verified with sample testing.
HSQY can supply solid polycarbonate as full sheets or custom-cut panels. Cut-to-size service is useful for signage companies, equipment manufacturers and fabricators that need repeatable dimensions without performing all cutting operations in-house.
When requesting custom cutting, provide the finished width and length, thickness, quantity and required dimensional tolerance. For parts that require holes, slots, radii or irregular profiles, a dimensioned drawing is recommended.
| Processing Service | Typical Application | Information Required |
|---|---|---|
| Cut to Size | Printed panels, windows, guards and covers | Width, length, thickness and tolerance |
| Drilling / Punching | Mounting holes and equipment-panel installation | Hole diameter, position and edge distance |
| CNC / Engraving | Irregular profiles, slots and custom parts | CAD drawing and tolerance requirements |
| Bending | Covers, brackets and fabricated displays | Bend angle, radius, dimensions and direction |
| Thermoforming | Three-dimensional covers and formed components | Drawing, forming depth, wall thickness and tooling information |

| Polishing / Edge Finishing | Visible finished edges and fabricated panels | Required edge appearance and part drawing |
Solid polycarbonate provides high impact resistance for applications such as machine guards, protective panels, signs and equipment covers. Exact impact performance depends on sheet thickness, resin grade and test method.
Clear grades can provide high visible-light transmission, allowing graphics or equipment behind the panel to remain visible. Light transmission varies according to thickness, tint and surface finish.
Suitable grades can be used for screen printing and selected digital-printing processes after confirming the ink and surface combination. This makes polycarbonate useful for durable graphics, signs and branded industrial panels.
Polycarbonate can be cut, drilled, routed, bent and thermoformed using suitable tooling and processing conditions, allowing one base material to be converted into a wide range of custom parts.
For outdoor signage, covers or glazing, UV-protected PC grades can be selected to improve resistance to sunlight-induced yellowing and surface degradation.
Fire performance is grade-specific and should not be assumed for every PC sheet. If a project requires B1, UL 94 or another fire classification, specify the required standard, thickness and rating before ordering.
Clear Printable Solid Polycarbonate Sheet
Custom Polycarbonate Panel Application
Polycarbonate Signage, Glazing and Protective Applications
Printable PC sheets can be used for indoor and outdoor signage, information panels, printed display boards, safety signs and branded panels where impact resistance is important.
Clear or printed solid PC can be fabricated into machine guards, access covers, inspection windows and safety panels. Printed warning information or operating instructions can be integrated into the panel design.
Polycarbonate can be printed and machined for larger faceplates, control panels and industrial equipment panels where stiffness, toughness and permanent graphics are required.
Solid PC sheet is suitable for impact-resistant protective screens, partitions and equipment barriers. Thickness should be selected according to panel dimensions, support spacing and expected mechanical load.
Printed, transparent or colored sheets can be cut, bent and fabricated into POP displays, branded product panels and durable retail display components.
UV-protected grades can also be used for selected glazing, covers, canopies and architectural panels. For these applications, the required UV exposure, wind load, fire rating and installation system should be specified separately.
Polycarbonate can be used for selected technical and medical-equipment housings, covers and transparent parts where an appropriate material grade is selected. Medical applications require grade-specific compliance and validation and should not rely on general-purpose PC sheet specifications.
