Product Description
HSQY double-sided anti-fog PET sheet is a clear A-PET material designed for face shields, safety visors, protective screens, helmet visors and other applications where condensation can reduce visibility. Both sides can be treated with a water-washable anti-fog coating to help maintain a clearer viewing surface in humid or temperature-changing conditions.
Available in thicknesses from 0.25mm to 1mm, the material can be supplied in rolls, standard sheets or custom die-cut pieces. Roll widths from 110mm to 1280mm and customized face-shield dimensions are available for manufacturers, converters, PPE suppliers and industrial safety product companies.
Double-sided anti-fog PET sheet is a transparent polyethylene terephthalate sheet with anti-fog treatment applied to both surfaces. Standard untreated transparent plastic can appear cloudy when moisture condenses into many small droplets on the surface.
The anti-fog surface changes how condensed moisture behaves. Instead of forming many individual droplets that scatter light, moisture can spread into a thinner and more uniform layer, helping the transparent sheet remain easier to see through.
Double-sided treatment is useful for visors and protective screens where either surface may be exposed to breath, humidity or rapid temperature changes. The anti-fog treatment does not remove moisture or prevent condensation from occurring; its purpose is to reduce visible fogging.

Fogging occurs when warm, moisture-rich air contacts a cooler transparent surface and water condenses into many small droplets. These droplets scatter light and can make an otherwise transparent visor appear cloudy.
An anti-fog coating improves surface wettability so condensed water is more likely to spread across the PET surface rather than remaining as many individual droplets. This reduces visible fogging and helps maintain a clearer field of view.
Anti-fog performance depends on coating formulation, humidity, temperature, cleaning method, exposure time and actual end-use conditions. Buyers should test samples under their intended operating conditions before mass production.
| Comparison | Double-Sided Anti-Fog PET | Single-Sided Anti-Fog PET |
|---|---|---|
| Treated Surface | Both surfaces | One surface |
| Installation Orientation | Less sensitive to which side faces the moisture source | Treated side must face the intended fogging environment |
| Typical Use | Visors and protective screens exposed to moisture on either side | Applications with a clearly defined fogging side |
Double-Sided Anti-Fog Surface: Both surfaces can be treated to help reduce visible fogging when moisture contacts either side of a visor or protective screen.
High Optical Clarity: Clear PET provides the transparency required for products where visibility through the finished component is important.
Water-Washable Coating: The current product is specified with a water-washable anti-fog treatment. Cleaning procedures should be tested because detergents, solvents, abrasion and repeated wiping may affect coating performance.
Custom Die-Cutting: Sheets can be converted into finished visor shapes and other components according to customer drawings and dimensions.
Roll and Sheet Supply: Material is available in roll and sheet formats, allowing converters to select the format that best matches their cutting and production equipment.
Functional Options: Anti-static, UV-resistant and anti-sticking properties can be discussed for applications that require additional surface functionality.
Anti-fog PET sheet can be used in transparent products where moisture, breathing or temperature changes may interfere with visibility.
Face Shields: Clear visor material for disposable or reusable face-shield assemblies, subject to the applicable finished-product requirements.
Industrial Safety Visors: Transparent visor components for industrial face protection and safety equipment.
Helmet Visors: Clear sheets for selected helmet shields and replacement visor applications where anti-fog performance is required.
Protective Screens: Transparent covers, splash screens and protective windows exposed to humid conditions.
Electronics and Clean Applications: Clear protective covers and windows where anti-static or additional functional surface treatment may also be required.

HSQY can supply full PET rolls or sheets for customers that perform converting in-house, as well as discuss pre-cut or custom die-cut pieces for visor assembly.
A commonly supplied reference size is 250 × 330mm, while other dimensions can be produced according to the finished face-shield design. Customers requiring die-cut parts should provide a drawing, CAD file, physical sample or accurate finished dimensions.
When specifying die-cut pieces, confirm overall dimensions, PET thickness, hole positions, corner shape, slot dimensions, anti-fog requirement, protective-film requirement and packaging method.
Protective film can help reduce scratching, fingerprints and contamination during converting, transportation and assembly. The protective film should be selected so that removal does not damage the functional anti-fog surface.
Buyers should confirm whether protective film is required on one or both sides and specify the preferred peel direction and downstream production process before mass production.
The correct PET specification depends on the finished product rather than thickness alone. Buyers should consider optical requirements, rigidity, flexibility, finished visor dimensions, anti-fog exposure, cleaning method, die-cutting process and applicable end-product standards.
| Selection Factor | What to Confirm |
|---|---|
| Thickness | Required balance between flexibility, stiffness and finished-product design |
| Anti-Fog Surface | Single-sided or double-sided treatment and expected humidity conditions |
| Format | Roll, sheet, slit roll or finished die-cut component |
| Protective Film | One-side or two-side protection according to converting process |
| Compliance | Destination market and applicable requirements for the final visor or protective product |
The current product materials reference CE, SGS and ISO documentation. Certification scope, revision, applicable standard and validity should be confirmed for the exact material and destination market before placing an order.
Material documentation does not automatically certify a completed face shield, visor, helmet or other PPE product. Compliance of the finished product depends on its complete design, components, assembly and applicable market requirements.

Sample Packaging: Small PET sheets can be protected with PE bags and packed in cartons.
Sheet and Roll Packaging: PET sheets or rolls can be wrapped with protective film and packed in cartons or on suitable export pallets.
Pallet Packaging: Reference pallet loading is approximately 500-2000kg depending on PET dimensions, roll configuration and customer requirements.
Container Loading: Loading plans can be optimized for 20ft or 40ft export containers according to order specifications.
Trade Terms: FOB, CIF and EXW options are available.
Reference Lead Time: Approximately 7-15 days after deposit, depending on coating specification, converting requirements and order volume.
