Product Description
HSQY manufactures 300 micron milk white PVC lampshade sheet for table lamps, floor lamps, pendant lamps, wall lamps, hotel lighting and custom decorative fixtures. The 0.30 mm translucent white PVC sheet provides a practical balance of light diffusion, shade structure, flexibility and converting stability for professional lampshade production.
The milk white appearance helps soften direct light, reduce visible hot spots and conceal the bulb or internal frame more effectively than fully transparent film. Glossy and matte surfaces, custom colors, sheet sizes and roll widths are available according to the required optical effect, lampshade diameter and production method.
For accurate material selection, provide the lamp type, light source, shade dimensions, required light transmission, surface finish, processing method and order quantity. Flame, glow-wire, heat and finished-luminaire requirements must be confirmed separately for the intended market and fixture design.

A thickness of 300 microns is widely used for lightweight lampshades because it provides enough body to hold a drum, empire, oval or custom shade shape while remaining easy to cut, score, roll and attach to the frame. It is particularly suitable for small and medium lampshades, fabric-backed designs and high-volume converting.
The correct thickness depends on the shade diameter, panel height, frame spacing, decorative covering and required rigidity. Larger shades or unsupported panels may require a thicker sheet, reinforced construction or a different plastic grade. A sample trial is recommended before bulk production.
Milk white PVC is designed to transmit part of the light while scattering it across the surface. This produces a softer visual effect than clear PVC and reduces the direct visibility of the bulb, LED points and internal shade structure. Optical performance is influenced by pigment concentration, sheet thickness, surface texture and the light source used in the finished fixture.
“Milk white,” “translucent white” and “opal white” are visual descriptions rather than a universal optical specification. Buyers who require controlled light transmission, haze, color coordinates or diffuser performance should provide numerical targets or an approved reference sample.
Soft light diffusion: Helps reduce direct glare and creates a more uniform illuminated appearance.
Consistent milk white color: Conceals the bulb and frame while maintaining controlled translucency.
Good flatness: Supports accurate cutting, printing, lamination and shade assembly.
Practical stiffness: The 0.30 mm gauge provides structure without making the material unnecessarily difficult to roll or form.
Printable and laminatable: Suitable grades can be printed or bonded to fabric, wallpaper, parchment and other decorative surfaces after compatibility testing.
Moisture resistance: The PVC structure helps protect the shade backing in normal indoor environments.
Anti-yellowing options: UV-stabilized and anti-oxidation formulations can be discussed according to the required service environment.
Custom supply: Color, gloss, matte level, thickness, sheet size, roll width and packaging can be adjusted for B2B projects.
Table lamp shades: Structural and light-diffusing backing for bedside, desk and decorative table lamps.
Floor lamp shades: Drum, empire and custom-shaped shades for residential or hospitality interiors.
Pendant and ceiling lights: Translucent shade panels for decorative suspended fixtures.
Wall lamps and sconces: Curved or formed diffuser panels for indoor accent lighting.
Fabric-covered lampshades: PVC backing laminated with linen, cotton, polyester, wallpaper or other decorative layers.
Commercial decorative lighting: Hotel, restaurant, retail and custom interior-lighting projects.

The 300 micron sheet can generally be cut with dies, rotary cutters, plotters or suitable sheet-cutting equipment. It can also be scored, rolled and assembled around metal lampshade rings. Tool clearance and cutting conditions should be adjusted to avoid edge cracking, distortion or excessive burrs.
Printing, adhesive lamination and fabric bonding depend on surface energy, ink system, adhesive type and production conditions. Corona treatment, primer or a PVC-compatible adhesive may be required. Buyers should test print adhesion, peel strength, color change and illuminated appearance before approving mass production.
Keep the sheet away from direct contact with the bulb or other high-temperature components. The finished lampshade design should provide suitable clearance and ventilation and should be evaluated against the applicable luminaire and market requirements.
Include the following information when requesting a recommendation or quotation:
1. Lamp type and lampshade shape.
2. Finished shade diameter, height and frame structure.
3. Required thickness, sheet size or roll width.
4. Milk white shade, translucency and surface finish.
5. Plain, printable, adhesive-backed or fabric-laminated construction.
6. Bulb or LED type, wattage, clearance and expected operating temperature.
7. Required flame, glow-wire, RoHS, REACH or customer-specific documentation.
8. Order quantity, annual demand and destination port.
Material-level SGS reports or ISO quality-system documents do not by themselves certify the completed lamp or lampshade. The required assessment depends on the destination market, light source, electrical construction, component temperatures, shade clearance and finished-luminaire design.
When flame-retardant or glow-wire performance is required, specify the exact test standard, material thickness, color and acceptance criteria. HSQY will confirm whether an appropriate grade and matching report are available. Never describe a standard milk white sheet as “self-extinguishing,” “UL certified” or “high-temperature resistant” unless the relevant product-specific report supports that claim.
Sample packaging: A4-size samples packed in a protective PP bag or carton.
Sheet packing: Sheets wrapped with PE film or kraft paper and protected with rigid boards.
Roll packing: Roll packaging can be customized according to width, length, core and transport requirements.
Pallet packing: Approximately 500–2000 kg per plywood pallet, depending on product format and dimensions.
Container loading: Final loading quantity depends on roll or sheet dimensions, pallet configuration and container weight limits.
Shipping: Bulk orders are shipped by sea; samples can be sent by DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT or another agreed courier.
Typical lead time: Approximately 15–20 days after the specification, payment and production schedule are confirmed.

It is a 0.30 mm translucent white PVC sheet used as the structural or light-diffusing layer in lampshades. It softens direct light, helps conceal the bulb and provides enough stiffness for many table, floor, pendant and decorative shades.
It is suitable for many small and medium lampshades, especially when supported by metal rings or laminated with fabric. Large diameters, tall panels or unsupported designs may require thicker material or additional reinforcement.
It reduces bulb visibility but does not necessarily make the shade opaque. The final appearance depends on pigment level, thickness, surface, bulb brightness and viewing distance. Request a sample when a specific hiding level is required.
Yes. Suitable grades can be printed or laminated with fabric, wallpaper and other decorative materials. Ink and adhesive compatibility must be tested, and surface treatment or primer may be required.
Adhesive-backed options can be discussed for fabric lampshade manufacturing. Provide the decorative material, required peel strength, release-liner format and operating conditions so HSQY can confirm the appropriate construction.
Standard PVC lampshade sheet should not automatically be described as flame retardant or suitable for a particular temperature. These properties depend on the formulation, thickness and test method. State the required standard and operating temperature before ordering.
Yes. Milk white tone, translucency, gloss, matte level and custom colors can be adjusted subject to MOQ and technical feasibility. An approved physical sample is recommended for optical and color matching.
The listed MOQ is 1000 kg. Custom colors, special optical performance, adhesive coating, non-standard widths or other customized requirements may have a different MOQ.
Yes. A4-size stock samples may be available for checking color, stiffness, diffusion, printing and bonding. Courier freight is normally paid by the buyer.
Provide the thickness, width or sheet size, roll length, color, surface, optical requirement, adhesive or printing requirement, application, quantity and destination port. A finished-shade drawing or reference sample will improve specification accuracy.
