Easy-peel film is designed to give consumers a controlled and convenient opening experience. The required peel force should be matched to the tray flange, packed food, tray size, distribution conditions and heating method.
A stronger seal may be selected for liquid-rich foods, sauces, institutional meals, demanding transportation conditions or applications requiring increased package integrity. Seal strength must be balanced with the required opening method.
Optional anti-fog treatment helps reduce condensation that may obscure the packaged food. It is especially useful for chilled prepared foods, refrigerated retail meals and products where clear presentation is important.
A 250mm roll width alone does not guarantee compatibility. The film structure and sealing layer must be selected according to the complete packaging system.
Provide the exact CPET tray material, supplier, dimensions, flange width, flange condition and any surface coating. A physical tray sample is preferable when developing a new sealing-film specification.
Specify whether the product is dry, oily, acidic, sauce-based, chilled, frozen, hot-filled or cooked after sealing. Seal-area contamination and food composition may influence the required film structure and sealing performance.
Provide the tray sealer brand, model, heating method, sealing-plate design, line speed, roll direction and current operating parameters. Film performance depends on the combined effects of sealing temperature, pressure and dwell time.
Confirm whether the finished package needs easy-peel opening, a stronger lock-up seal, tamper evidence or high resistance to leakage during transportation.
State the minimum storage temperature, maximum cooking temperature, heating duration, microwave or conventional-oven use, required shelf life and distribution conditions.
Test the proposed film on the actual tray sealing line. Check roll tracking, cutting, sealing consistency, peel force, leakage resistance, appearance after storage and performance after the intended heating cycle.

A successful lidding-film project requires more than selecting a roll width. HSQY recommends evaluating the complete tray, film, food and machine combination before full commercial production.
Seal integrity: Inspect the entire tray flange for channels, wrinkles, incomplete seals and contamination.
Peel consistency: Confirm that the lid opens at the required force without excessive tearing, stringing or residue.
Leak resistance: Test sauce-based and liquid-rich foods under realistic handling and transportation conditions.
Machine performance: Confirm smooth unwinding, tracking, indexing and cutting at the target line speed.
Temperature performance: Evaluate the pack after freezing, thawing, microwaving or oven heating as applicable.
Retail appearance: Check transparency, condensation, print registration and film flatness.
Shelf-life testing: Conduct appropriate product-specific shelf-life and food-safety validation.
HSQY can provide applicable product specifications, quality documents and test reports according to the selected sealing-film structure and customer requirements. Buyers should confirm the current document version, product scope and destination-market requirements before placing an order.

HSQY participates in international packaging exhibitions to meet food processors, packaging distributors, tray manufacturers and ready-meal producers from global markets.
Sealing-film rolls are produced, slit and packed according to the confirmed width, roll length, core specification and shipment requirements.
Sample packaging: Trial rolls can be protected with PE bags and packed in cartons.
Standard roll packaging: Rolls are wrapped with protective film and packed in cartons or on pallets.
Pallet packaging: Approximately 500-2,000kg per plywood pallet, depending on roll size and shipment requirements.
Container loading: Loading plans can be optimized for 20-foot or 40-foot containers.
Trade terms: FOB, CIF and EXW are available.
Lead time: Standard orders typically require approximately 7-15 days after deposit; printed or customized structures may require additional time.
It is used as a heat-sealed lid for compatible food trays. Typical applications include CPET ready meals, airline meals, frozen meals, institutional catering, meals on wheels and prepared retail foods.
Not automatically. Compatibility depends on the CPET formulation, flange surface, tray supplier, sealing layer, machine settings and packed food. HSQY recommends testing the film with the actual tray before bulk ordering.
Easy-peel grades are available. The target peel force should be confirmed according to the tray dimensions, flange width, product weight, heating process and consumer-opening requirements.
Stronger-seal structures can be discussed for applications requiring increased package integrity. HSQY should review the tray, food, distribution conditions and required opening method before recommending a film.
Suitable grades can be developed for microwaveable and ovenable CPET meal-tray applications. The maximum temperature and heating time depend on the selected film structure, tray, food and cooking conditions. The complete package must be tested before commercial use.
Freezer-compatible grades are available. Buyers should specify the minimum storage temperature, freezing duration, transport conditions and whether the package will move directly from freezer to microwave or oven.
Anti-fog treatment is optional. It can help maintain visibility when condensation may form inside chilled or refrigerated food packages.
Yes. In addition to the standard 250mm by 500-metre roll, HSQY can discuss custom widths, thicknesses, roll lengths, core sizes and roll diameters according to the tray sealing machine.
Yes. Custom printing can include logos, product information, preparation instructions and brand graphics. Provide the artwork, number of colors, repeat length and annual order volume for evaluation.
Standard sealing film should not automatically be assumed to provide the oxygen and moisture barrier required for modified-atmosphere packaging. For MAP or extended-shelf-life projects, provide the target shelf life, packed food and required barrier values so that a suitable high-barrier structure can be evaluated.
Recyclability depends on the final film structure, material combination, food contamination, local collection system and recycling infrastructure. Multi-material PET/PE structures are not accepted by every recycling system, so recyclability claims should be confirmed for the target market.
There is no single sealing temperature suitable for every machine and tray. The correct setting depends on the film grade, tray material, pressure, dwell time, sealing-plate design and line speed. HSQY can recommend initial parameters, but the final settings must be established through machine trials.
Sample or trial rolls can be discussed. Send HSQY your tray samples, machine details and application requirements so the technical team can evaluate a suitable grade.
The typical minimum order quantity is approximately 1,000kg. The final MOQ depends on film structure, width, thickness, printing and other customization requirements.
Standard production generally requires approximately 7-15 days after the deposit and specification confirmation. Printed film, special structures and large-volume orders may require additional production time.
Applicable technical specifications, quality documents and available test reports can be provided according to the selected product. Confirm the destination country and required regulatory standard when requesting a quotation.
