PETG Decorative Film
HSQY stone grain PETG decorative film is a glycol-modified polyester surface material designed for furniture panels, cabinets, wardrobes, doors, decorative wall panels and other interior lamination applications requiring a stone-inspired appearance.
Available in thicknesses from 0.25mm to 1mm and a standard reference width of 1250mm with customized widths available, the film can be supplied for furniture manufacturers, MDF laminators, cabinet factories, panel producers, interior-material distributors and OEM projects.
Stone grain patterns provide the visual character of natural stone without requiring a solid stone surface. Different gloss levels, textures and decorative effects can be selected according to the furniture collection, substrate and lamination process.
Surface performance, adhesive compatibility and processing conditions depend on the selected PETG grade, substrate, finish and production equipment. Buyers should test the selected film with their actual board, adhesive and lamination process before commercial production.

Stone Grain PETG Decorative Film
PETG Film for Furniture Panels
PETG Decorative Surface for Furniture
Stone grain PETG film is a decorative copolyester surface film designed to reproduce stone-inspired colors, patterns and visual depth on furniture and interior panels.
Instead of using the PETG film as a structural furniture board by itself, manufacturers normally laminate the film onto a compatible substrate. Depending on the production system, suitable substrates can include MDF, particle board, plywood, wood-based panels and other prepared decorative boards.
The finished panel combines the underlying board structure with the decorative PETG surface. This allows furniture producers to create coordinated stone-look cabinet fronts, wardrobe panels, doors and wall systems using industrial panel-production processes.
Stone grain PETG should be selected according to the required pattern, gloss level, texture, film thickness, board type, adhesive system and lamination method. Physical samples are recommended when precise color, pattern and surface appearance are important.
The following information is based on the current HSQY HSPDF product specification. Customized decorative effects and functional surface requirements should be confirmed for the exact film grade before production.

Buyers requiring material declarations, chemical test reports, quality-system documents or other project-specific documentation should identify the required document and destination market when requesting a quotation.
Documentation should be checked against the exact PETG grade, decorative finish and ordered specification rather than assumed to apply identically to every color or surface treatment.

A high-gloss surface creates stronger reflection and visual depth, making stone-inspired patterns more prominent on cabinet fronts, furniture doors and decorative panels.
Matte PETG provides a lower-reflection appearance suitable for contemporary furniture, wardrobes, wall panels and interiors where a softer visual finish is preferred.
Embossing can introduce physical texture to complement a printed or colored stone design. Available texture and pattern combinations should be confirmed from physical samples or the current design collection.
Furniture manufacturers developing their own collections can discuss custom colors, stone-inspired patterns and surface effects. Providing a physical reference, approved color standard or high-quality design reference helps improve color and pattern evaluation.
Decorative film enables furniture producers to reproduce consistent stone-inspired colors and patterns across panel batches, supporting coordinated cabinet, wardrobe and interior furniture collections.
High-gloss, matte and textured surfaces create different visual effects from the same general stone-design concept. This gives designers and furniture manufacturers more flexibility when developing different product ranges.
PETG film forms the exposed decorative surface of the laminated panel and can help protect the underlying board from routine contact and surface contamination. Required scratch, stain or chemical resistance should be specified and tested for the selected surface grade.
Smooth PETG decorative surfaces are generally easy to wipe and maintain. Cleaning-agent compatibility should be tested when the finished furniture will be exposed to specific detergents, disinfectants or household chemicals.
Stone grain can be coordinated with wood grain, solid colors, metallic effects and other decorative PETG designs, allowing manufacturers to develop multiple interior styles using related production methods.
Projects requiring defined scratch resistance, anti-fingerprint performance, chemical resistance, UV stability or another functional surface property should specify the test requirement during sample development so the applicable grade can be confirmed.
PETG film performance depends on the complete laminated panel system. Board flatness, surface energy, moisture content, primer, adhesive and processing conditions can all affect adhesion and finished appearance.
| Substrate | Typical Application | Processing Consideration |
|---|---|---|
| MDF | Cabinets, wardrobe doors and furniture fronts | Confirm surface preparation, adhesive compatibility, pressure and temperature. |
| Particle Board | Furniture panels and cabinet components | Board surface quality and flatness should be suitable for decorative lamination. |
| Plywood | Furniture and interior decorative panels | Test surface preparation and adhesive system before commercial production. |
| Wood-Based Panels | Doors, wall panels and furniture components | Confirm board coating, primer and bonding conditions. |
| Other Decorative Boards | Special interior and commercial projects | Compatibility should be evaluated with the actual board and adhesive system. |
Flat lamination is a common process for applying decorative film to furniture boards. The film, adhesive and substrate are combined under controlled processing conditions to create a uniform decorative panel surface.
PUR hot-melt and other industrial adhesive systems may be used depending on the substrate and production line. Adhesive selection should be made by the panel manufacturer or adhesive supplier based on the PETG grade, substrate and required finished-panel performance.
Lamination temperature, line pressure, line speed, adhesive coating weight and curing conditions can influence adhesion and appearance. Production trials are recommended before changing film grade, board type or adhesive system.
If vacuum forming, thermoforming or profile wrapping is required, provide the processing method and geometry before ordering so the suitability of the selected PETG film can be confirmed.

Send Your Stone Grain PETG Requirements
Stone grain PETG film is a decorative copolyester surface material designed to create stone-inspired patterns and finishes on furniture panels, cabinets, doors, wall panels and other compatible interior surfaces.
The current HSPDF specification is available from 0.25mm to 1mm. The appropriate thickness depends on the substrate, surface design and lamination or forming process.
The current reference width is 1250mm. Customized widths can be discussed according to production requirements and order quantity.
MDF is a common candidate for furniture decorative-film lamination. Board preparation, adhesive compatibility, lamination temperature, pressure and line speed should be validated with the actual PETG grade and equipment.
PETG film can be considered for compatible plywood and particle-board surfaces. Surface flatness, preparation and adhesive bonding should be tested before commercial production.
Stone-inspired designs can be combined with different surface effects such as high gloss, matte, smooth or embossed finishes according to available grades and customization requirements.
Custom pattern and color development can be discussed. Provide a physical sample, color reference or design file together with the required surface finish and estimated order volume.
Scratch performance depends on the PETG grade and surface treatment. If your finished furniture requires a specific scratch-resistance level, provide the required test method or benchmark during sample evaluation.
The PETG decorative surface can resist normal contact with moisture, but performance of a finished laminated panel also depends on the substrate, adhesive, edges and joints. The complete furniture panel should be evaluated for the intended exposure conditions.
UV performance can vary by formulation, pigment, printing system and surface treatment. Projects requiring defined UV or fade resistance should specify the exposure conditions and applicable test requirement.
Flame performance should not be assumed from the PETG material name alone. If a project requires a specific flame classification, provide the applicable test standard and required rating so an appropriate grade can be evaluated.
PETG has useful forming characteristics, but decorative layers and surface treatments can affect processing behavior. If vacuum forming or thermoforming is required, provide the geometry, draw depth, temperature and equipment details for grade confirmation.
Adhesive selection depends on the PETG grade, substrate and lamination equipment. PUR and other industrial adhesive systems may be suitable, but the adhesive supplier and panel manufacturer should validate bonding performance under the actual production conditions.
Yes. Physical sample evaluation is recommended because stone pattern, gloss, texture and color can appear different on a screen than on the actual film. Samples can also be used for adhesive and lamination trials.
The current product specification lists an MOQ of 2000kg. Custom patterns, colors, widths and specialty surface treatments may have different minimum production requirements.
Provide the required stone pattern or reference sample, surface finish, thickness, width, substrate, lamination method, adhesive system if known, performance requirements, quantity, annual demand and destination.
PETG decorative film is packed to help protect the roll surface and edges during handling, storage and international transportation. Final packing configuration depends on film width, roll dimensions, weight and shipment requirements.
