HSQY semi automatic food tray sealing machine is a compact heat-sealing system designed for ready meals, takeaway food, meat, seafood, vegetables, fruit, bakery products and other tray-packed foods. A semi automatic tray sealing machine combines manual tray handling with automated sealing operations. The operator places a filled tray into the matching mold and starts the cycle, while the machine feeds the lidding film, applies controlled heat and pressure, seals the film to the tray flange and cuts the film around the tray.
This configuration provides a practical step between a basic manual tray sealer and a fully automatic inline tray sealing system. It is particularly suitable when production volume does not yet justify automated tray loading and conveyor integration.
The HS250T, HS300T and HS280YT models listed on this page are primarily positioned for standard tray sealing. Modified atmosphere packaging, vacuum packaging and vacuum skin packaging require dedicated machine configurations and should not be assumed to be included with these standard models.

The operator places a pre-filled tray into the dedicated sealing mold. The tray dimensions, flange design and mold must match correctly.
The operator activates the machine after the tray is correctly positioned. The sealing process then proceeds automatically according to the machine settings.
Roll film is automatically advanced over the tray. The original equipment information references photoelectric and disc sensing for accurate film feeding.

A tray sealing machine cannot compensate for an incompatible tray and film combination. Before purchasing the machine or mold, confirm the exact tray material, sealing layer and lidding-film structure.
Important lidding-film parameters include roll width, roll diameter, sealant layer, sealing-temperature window, film thickness, anti-fog requirement, easy-peel or lock-seal behavior and whether the film is printed or unprinted.
