HSQY HS002 Inkjet Printable PVC Blank ID Cards are designed for producing personalized identification cards, membership cards, loyalty cards, gift cards, employee badges, student IDs and other customized plastic cards. The smooth, flat PVC surface is designed for compatible inkjet printing workflows using selected Epson and Canon printers.
The standard CR80 card measures 85.5 × 54mm with a nominal thickness of 0.76mm ±0.02mm. Its four-layer construction consists of two 0.08mm overlay layers and two 0.30mm PVC core layers, providing a nominal total thickness of 0.76mm.
Available material options include virgin, semi-new and recycled PVC. Custom thicknesses from 0.3mm to 2.0mm, A4/A5 sheet formats, customized dimensions and different material grades can be discussed according to production requirements.
HS002 is intended for compatible inkjet card-printing applications. Printer model, card tray, ink type, printable sides and card thickness should be confirmed before bulk production. Special magnetic stripe, RFID, NFC or contact-chip structures require separate specifications.

HS002 uses a layered PVC construction designed to provide the nominal 0.76mm card thickness. The structure combines two overlay layers and two PVC core layers.
| Layer | Thickness | Construction |
| Top Overlay | 0.08mm | Outer protective layer |
| Upper PVC Core | 0.30mm | Main card body layer |
| Lower PVC Core | 0.30mm | Main card body layer |
| Bottom Overlay | 0.08mm | Outer protective layer |
| Total | 0.76mm | Four-layer PVC card construction |
The two outer overlay layers and two core layers add up to the nominal 0.76mm thickness. Alternative thicknesses and layer configurations can be discussed for customized card projects.
HS002 is designed for compatible inkjet card-printing workflows. Its printing surface is intended to receive ink for producing personalized graphics, text, logos, photographs and identification information.
The current product specification identifies Epson and Canon inkjet printers as compatible equipment options. Compatibility must be confirmed by the complete printer model because not every desktop inkjet printer supports rigid PVC cards.
Some desktop inkjet workflows require a dedicated PVC card tray or carrier to feed individual cards through the printer. Buyers should confirm whether their existing tray supports CR80 cards and the specified 0.76mm thickness.
The number of printable sides depends on the selected surface coating and printing configuration. For double-sided card printing, confirm that both surfaces have the appropriate ink-receptive treatment and that the printer workflow supports both sides.
Ink formulation, printer settings, coating characteristics and drying conditions influence the final image quality. A printing trial using the actual printer and ink is recommended before bulk purchasing.
A uniform, flat card surface supports consistent ink application for logos, text, photographs, QR codes and customized card graphics. Final color reproduction depends on the printer, ink, artwork and printing settings.
Not all blank PVC cards are designed for the same printing technology. Inkjet printable cards use an ink-receptive surface, while many professional ID card printers use thermal transfer, dye-sublimation or retransfer printing.
| Comparison | Inkjet Printable PVC Card | Thermal / Dye-Sublimation PVC Card |
| Printing Technology | Compatible inkjet printing | Thermal transfer, dye-sublimation or retransfer |
| Surface | Ink-receptive coating | Printer-specific surface for compatible ribbons or transfer films |
| Equipment | Approved Epson / Canon inkjet workflow | Compatible Zebra, Fargo, Evolis, Magicard or other ID card printers |
| Consumables | Compatible ink | Compatible color or monochrome ribbon / retransfer film |
| Feeding Method | Compatible card tray or dedicated feed system where required | Printer-specific card hopper and feeding mechanism |
| Important Buying Check | Printer model, card thickness, tray and coating compatibility | Printer model, card thickness, ribbon and surface compatibility |
HS002 should be ordered for the intended inkjet printing workflow. Standard PVC cards for thermal card printers should not automatically be substituted for inkjet-coated cards.
A smooth, uniform card surface supports consistent printing and helps reduce visible surface irregularities in the finished card.
The two-overlay and two-core construction provides a nominal 0.76mm card body for standard CR80 applications.
Virgin, semi-new and recycled PVC options can be discussed according to the buyer's material, appearance and purchasing requirements.
Standard CR80 cards and customized dimensions can be discussed. A4/A5 sheet formats are also listed for projects requiring sheet-based material supply.
In addition to compatible inkjet printing, offset and silk-screen printing can be considered for different card manufacturing and customization requirements.
HS002 is suitable for bulk purchasing projects involving card printers, distributors, card manufacturers and OEM buyers requiring consistent dimensions and material specifications.
Blank PVC cards can be printed with employee photographs, names, department information, company logos and identification numbers for workplace identification systems.
Retailers, gyms, clubs, restaurants and service businesses can use customized PVC cards for membership identification, loyalty programs and customer recognition.
Custom printed PVC cards can be used for gift card designs, promotional programs and prepaid card projects where the required card structure is separately specified.
Schools, universities, libraries and training institutions can print student photographs, registration details, identification numbers and institutional branding.
PVC cards can be customized for visitor identification, exhibition passes, conference badges and other identification applications.
CR80 card bodies can be considered for hotel and access-control projects when the required magnetic stripe, RFID, NFC or contact-chip structure is separately specified and integrated. Standard HS002 blank cards do not automatically include these electronic components or data encoding.
Virgin PVC can be selected for projects requiring a specified material formulation and consistent card appearance. Final material requirements should be agreed according to the buyer's product specification.
Semi-new PVC is listed as an available material option. Buyers should confirm its actual composition, appearance and processing characteristics before approving bulk orders.
Recycled PVC can be discussed for cost-sensitive card projects. Recycled content, formulation and acceptable surface appearance should be specified before production.
The standard HS002 card thickness is 0.76mm. Custom thicknesses from 0.3mm to 2.0mm are listed for projects requiring different card dimensions or construction.
CR80 is the standard listed finished-card format. Other dimensions and A4/A5 sheet supply can be discussed according to the intended card manufacturing process.
