Colored Polypropylene Sheet

Flexible thin Polypropylene sheets are suitable for a wide range of D&T applications. Our sheets are available in 0.8mm and 0.5mm thickness, making them very lightweight. They can be cut safely on a laser cutter and unlike PVC they do not create any chlorine gas. The sheets can also be cut using a sharp knife. You can crease the material using a cold or hot creasing technique. The resulting 'hinges' can be folded many times without the material breaking.

Description


These translucent/transparent coloured 0.5mm Polypropylene Sheets are suitable for a wide range of D&T applications. These sheets let light through but have a pinseal finish on one side, which is good for diffusing light. Pinseal is a just off smooth finish that has small and regular surface indentations.


The 0.5mm gauge makes the sheets flexible and therefore ideal for products requiring a curved finish. They are static treated to minimise dust attraction.


Polypropylene sheets are often used to make products such as office stationery, folders, files, covers, signs, lamps, lightings, jewellery, fashion accessories, etc. As has been seen recently, it can also be utilised in PPE equipment.
