Discuss Your PET Thermoforming Project
Verify nominal thickness, thickness variation, roll width or sheet dimensions against the approved specification before running production trials.
Review clarity, haze, gloss, tint, marks, scratches, gels and other visible defects under an agreed inspection method and lighting condition.
Test the material on the intended machine and mold. Evaluate heating uniformity, forming definition, wall-thickness distribution, corner quality, flange flatness, shrinkage and trimming.
For printed or folded packaging, test ink adhesion, curing, crease quality, whitening, cracking and finished appearance using the actual production process.
If the formed PET package will be sealed, test the complete bottom-web and lidding-film system. Seal compatibility depends on surface construction, temperature, pressure, dwell time, contamination and required peel strength.
Evaluate the actual finished package under its expected filling, storage, transport and end-use conditions before approving a new PET grade or gauge for bulk production.
Food-contact suitability should be confirmed for the exact PET grade, production specification, food type, contact temperature, contact duration and destination market.
The PET data sheet currently available on this page references FDA and BGA food-contact requirements. Commercial buyers should request current product-specific documentation applicable to the material being ordered rather than relying solely on a general data sheet.
The downloadable SGS report is a test report associated with a PET resin sample. Buyers requiring compliance evidence for a current finished PET sheet grade should request current documentation corresponding to the selected material and production specification.
HSQY supplies clear PET sheet to thermoforming companies, food-packaging manufacturers, blister-packaging converters, printers, folding-box manufacturers, distributors and international importers.
The current product page publishes a minimum order quantity of approximately 1,000 kg. Customized colors, gauges, surface treatments or other special specifications may require different minimum quantities.
Available sample sheets or trial material can be discussed for preliminary optical, printing and forming evaluation. Buyers should test samples using the actual production equipment whenever possible.
Custom thicknesses, roll widths and sheet dimensions can be evaluated according to equipment limits, application requirements and purchasing quantity.
Depending on the project, buyers can also discuss colored PET, recycled-content PET, matte surfaces, anti-fog, anti-static or other functional PET-family materials.
International buyers should provide thickness, width or sheet size, roll specification, surface requirements, application, quantity, packing method, destination and required documentation for quotation.
PET sheet and roll packing should be selected according to gauge, format, roll weight, sheet dimensions, pallet requirements and international transportation conditions.
For rollstock, buyers should confirm required core diameter, maximum roll outside diameter, maximum roll weight, winding direction, protective wrapping and pallet configuration.
For cut sheets, specify sheet dimensions, quantity per pack, surface protection and pallet requirements. Container loading data should be calculated from the final approved packing specification rather than a generic shipment weight.
