Both cast acrylic sheet and extruded acrylic sheet are acrylic sheet, and their materials can be in different colors (the most common cols are white, black, red, apple green, etc.). Their transparency is very good, close to crystal.
Here is their difference:
1. The transparency of the cast acrylic sheet is more than 98%, while the transparency of extruded acrylic sheet is only about 92%.
2. There are no dots on the edge of the cast acrylic sheet, and the edges are very transparent,while there is dots on the edge of the extrude acrylic sheet.
3. The tolerance of the cast acrylic sheet increases with the increase of its thickness (see What is the tolerance of acrylic sheet), and the tolerance of the extruded plate can be controlled within ±0.1mm
4. The cast acrylic sheet size is fixed, the normal size is 1.83M*1.22M and 2.44M*1.22M, but the size of extrude acrylic sheet is flexible.
